There was also nutella on bread with hagelslag (real chocolate jimmies) and stroopwafels. Nellie, the cook, would sometimes have veggie soup, or eggs, or crepes by lunchtime. We also learned to make our selves “kass toasties” which is basically a butterless grilled cheese made in a toaster.
